Atlixco of Flowers is a journey through colors, flavors, and landscapes that feel unmatched. Known for having one of the best climates in the world, Atlixco offers beautiful scenery and a special connection with the two great natural guardians of Puebla: Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl.

The route begins with a visit to the crystal corridor, an impressive tourist attraction located on Cerro de San Miguel in the heart of the Magical Town of Atlixco. This glass viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of the Popocatépetl volcano, the Iztaccíhuatl volcano, and the city of Atlixco.

We then transfer to Atlixco and visit the Ex-Convent of San Francisco, dating back to 1538. It is considered one of the twelve original Franciscan convents in the region.

Travelers will also discover the most colorful stairways in the Puebla area and enjoy artisanal ice cream from Atlixco. The experience continues with a walk through the Historic Center with the town chronicler, where we learn about the Municipal Palace, its murals, and the zócalo.

A meal in Atlixco is suggested before transferring back to the city of Puebla and ending the route. This experience brings together landscape, history, local culture, and the festive spirit of one of Puebla’s most beloved Magical Towns.

Atlixco de las Flores es un viaje por colores, sabores y paisajes inigualables. Conocido por tener uno de los mejores climas del mundo, Atlixco ofrece escenarios hermosos y una complicidad especial con los dos grandes colosos de la naturaleza poblana: el Popocatépetl y el Iztaccíhuatl.

La ruta comienza con la visita al corredor de cristal, un atractivo turístico impresionante ubicado en el cerro de San Miguel, en el corazón del Pueblo Mágico de Atlixco. Este mirador de cristal ofrece vistas panorámicas espectaculares del volcán Popocatépetl, del Iztaccíhuatl y de la ciudad de Atlixco.

Después se realiza el traslado al Pueblo Mágico de Atlixco y la visita al Ex Convento de San Francisco, fechado en 1538. Es considerado uno de los 12 conventos franciscanos originales de la región.

Los viajeros también conocerán las escalinatas más coloridas de la zona poblana y degustarán helados artesanales de Atlixco. La experiencia continúa con una caminata por el Centro Histórico con el cronista de la ciudad, donde se conocen el Palacio Municipal, sus murales y el zócalo.

Se sugiere una comida en Atlixco antes del traslado de regreso a la ciudad de Puebla y el cierre del recorrido. Esta experiencia reúne paisaje, historia, cultura local y el espíritu festivo de uno de los Pueblos Mágicos más queridos de Puebla.
